RADIO DRAMA PRODUCTION
Huon Valley Theatre presents an evening steeped in the golden age of radio drama - where mystery, intrigue, and a touch of murderous intent take centre stage.
Watch as performers bring two classic radio plays to life in front of the microphone: Rinse the Blood Off My Toga and Sam Shovel - Private Eye, with musical interludes sprinkled throughout.
In Rinse the Blood Off My Toga, meet Flavius Maximus - a Roman senator, orator, loyal friend to the fallen and frequent patron of the local taverns. When Julius Caesar is murdered, Flavius trades his rhetoric for sleuthing, uncovering a tangle of suspects...including the suspicious Brutus.
Sam Shovel - Private Eye takes you to a seedy city full of shady dealings and tacky tailoring. A body turns up in Sam's office - stabbed with a yardstick, no less. It's only the beginning. With fashion turning fatal, Sam must stitch the clues together before the whole industry unravels.

TALES AROUND THE TABLE
Tales Around the Table is where we get together once
a month to read a play. Anyone can come along to read a part, or simply
to listen to others.
We often use this to test out plays for
potentially putting on stage. It's also a good way for people
to try out portraying different characters.
Keep an eye out on Facebook for details.
